Hello!
My name is Tabatha Gomez, I have decided to follow my dreams of educating young children. With the use of weekly themes and sensory play I have created an environment where young children can learn while doing. I feel hands on learning set in fun play is the best way for young children to learn without stress or pressure.
Our Family daycare is a place for children to learn and grow with lots of love and fun.
My husband, Juan and I have been together for 20+ years. When our children were young we both working in the Real Estate and Mortgage fields. This gave us the flexibility to be with our children as much as possible. As they grew so did our interests. I became more passionate about early childhood development, while Juan decided to use more of his education at a local refinery. He is also fully background check and helps out in the daycare when he is home.
We are proud parents of 3 children. Our 2 sons both graduated from Benicia High and now are in the early stages of their carriers, Brenden works in finance, while his husband is a Middle school teacher, they recently purchase a home in Florida. Johnathan is a Sheriff Deputy for Humboldt County where he and his girlfriend live while she attends Humboldt State. Our daughter is currently attending Benicia High and is schedule to graduate in June 2021. She plans on attending college to pursue a carrier in psychology. She also works with with me at the daycare. We couldn't be prouder of our children and the wonderful, hardworking, funny people they are!
I have always been active in my children’s activities team mom for multiple sports as well as active at the schools everything from room parent to running BHS Grad Night for 3 years. I have been my daughters Girl Scout Leader since 2010 and currently am the head of Benicia Girl Scouts. Our Troop is unique in that we have girls from K-12th I love supporting my older girls in their journey to become young women while helping me teaching our littles how to follow in their footsteps.
